Taken at the Fushimi Inari Taisha (Inari shrine) in Kyoto, Japan. I'm not sure of the age of this part of the place, but it was originally founded in the year 711, so I'm sure it qualifies as "old." Chamonix 4x5, Schneider 135mm, Tri-X.

Here's an old home from the area where my grandfather grew up.
I like to imagine he and his two younger sisters walking past this home when it was much newer. They migrated from Kentucky 300 miles North in the fall of 1898. It was a great joy for me to use a c. 1896 brass lens to record a part of my past. Still can't imagine how a family of 13 could have made such a journey.
