I tend to 'crop with my feet,' meaning the composition you see is precisely how I envisioned capturing the moment.
Further cropping sometimes constrains that vision. Nonetheless, seeing how others interpret my work is genuinely intriguing.

PS: On a lighter note, I'm glad to hear you're also a pizza enthusiast! There's nothing like a good slice to bring people together.

Also, I think listening to what others think of my work and how they think it could be improved is of value to me. I make errors. I might miss something that someone else picks up. Having others reflect and what they think, improves my work. I don't have to agree with their ideas in the end. But their comments are valuable to me. If my message isn't getting through or I can make it more effective, shouldn't I want to know about that? Of course, people are sensitive about criticism. But artists should get over that if they want to get better. I didn't detect any of that sensitivity from Darlene.

First ever 8x10 I developed. D100 Tmax developer. Used the Stearman 8x10 daylight devloping tank. Worked great. This is a phone shot of negative on my light table. Inverted and adjusted using LR for the iPhone. Can’t wait to drum scan. Shot with my Extar 14in lens. I did use some tilt.

Shot in Northern AZ by Pine.

Although I do see where some of the hold downs were by the lighter vertical marks at the top.

Brickyard (Google translate) It was a factory where they created the bricks. It started around 1346 until the late 1800.
Fun fact not so far from Tomorrowland
