All of you who shoot with an Arca are probably familiar with Rod Klukas of Photomark in Phoenix. I just got the email from Rod announcing that this week will be his last at Photomark. He will be joining Arca Swiss in early 2011 and, based upon my conversation, he will remain in Phoenix to sell Arcas, but will probably not have a large storefront. Thanks for that. Unfortunately, the catalogue is the old one (and the only one?), hopelessly out of date and detailed complete info on their new cameras is impossible to get on the net. I already forgot where I got their catalogue from (although I have the impression it was a Swiss address) before I got one of their cameras - so well hidden they are...
Gee, why would you think that? People change jobs all the time. It's not like Arca is all they sell or he is their only employee.

I've been to Photomark and have to say its an OK store but nothing special. Only reason I went was to see Rod otherwise I'd probably never have gone there.
Now if you want to see a really sweet store visit Camera West in Ranch Mirage, CA. It's between Palm Desert and Palm Springs on Hwy 111. Very classy store.
