What is the best shutter release cable for a deeply recessed lensboard?

Looking for the best solution for a deeply recessed lensboard (2cm recessed one of the Chinese copies from eBay) when it comes to shutter releases. Is there anything flexible enough? Any different adaptors?

The board I am planing on buying is eBay number

    260701543888

I know it already has that board adapter... Is it good enough? Whar are the alternatives? Has anyone used this board?

Gepe Wide Angle Cable Release Extension and a really good cable release.

Thank you. Is anyone interested in selling me one or two?

I'm sorry but the Gepe one is way too stiff for my liking. I use the no-name branded one from B&H and it is far less likely to put strain on the cable release mount on the shutter.

Plus you can get two or more of these for the price of one Gepe!

Hey Steve, do have B&H's catalogue number for this item?

    Hi David,

    # B&H # GBUHA is the one I believe.

Just search for cable release adapter.

    Sorry for the late-ish reply

The general brand "U" hook cable release extension, GBUHA, is listed at B&H as temporarily unavailable.

    That usually means discontinued.

The Gepe 3" cable release extension might be the only one still obtainable.

    Cheers,
But it is on indefinate back order and is very different from the Gepe which has a very flexible and short nipple to get into a deeply recessed board or a very narrow recess. But to each their own.
