Richard, you always put out a great series of photos. I noticed that there remains a particular color cast to your c41 images. I don't know if you intend this as part of your presentation or not. I'm curious...

Thanks, I think this image does seem to have a blue cast. This is Ektar, which is something I have left in the fridge as I am staying with Portra now. Let me try again. The other recent images look good to me though.

No, no center filter. That's why the image shows some darkening towards the edges. Shooting 6x17 format with the 75mm lens helps to hide the noticeable corner darkening and/or vignetting that would be more evident in a full 5x7 negative.

Not that much darkening, good to hear it's not required. They are so expensive and seemingly hard to find.

    I use a 90 and love the 6x17 format.

Very nice djdister! Did you use a read or orange filter? ND grad? How did you get this very good balance between foreground and sky?

I have also one last shot from my recently discovered spot not far away from where I live. It feels like this was the last day the sun was shining here in the north of germany:

Love the barn and the composition, Dan. Regarding the Canham 617 back, I have heard from several sources that these have issues with misfeeds. Any issues with yours? The bad rep has kept me on the sideline.
