Empire State no.2 whole plate camera

Does anyone have a clue if there's an extension rail for the camera , if so , where might I buy one? Any help would be much appreciated

Its really hard to find these. One place I would start is Pacific Rim camera. They often get the "unusual" camera stuff.

I'd measure your current rail for width, distance between rows of teeth, teeth per inch, etc and THEN go looking. Also look and see exactly how the extension would attach. Then you know most of what you need to ask answerable questions.

I had answered you question in other post. It's still yes. The Empire State #2 has rear extension rail . I own a WP model 2 so I measured the extension for ya.

The width is 6 1/2" length 11 1/2" teeth spacing is about dead on 1/8th of a inch.

Good luck in your search & hope you can find one. I do not have an extra but if I did I would help you out.

I would place a WTB in the FS/FT section with the details & see what happens. Maybe someone in the community has an extra rail(the one u need) they will part with .
