    Hey everyone!

Just joined this site today, and I'm in the process of finding a 617 camera to start my journey into film! I love panoramic shots and have been shooting digital for 3 years now, but I now have a huge itch to get into film. I can't wait to shoot 4x5 landscape stuff as well. I'm from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and if you guys want to look at some of my stuff, you can go here http://mikeisaak.com/ I'd love your guys opinions.

Hi, Mike! Your website almost, but not quite, fits on a laptop screen (1024x768). Other than that, you have a good layout and some good pictures.

You can get a Shen Hao 6x17 back for 4x5 cameras, but you have to make sure that the camera has a Graflok back. Or you could get a panoramic dark slide and mark off a 1.75-inch segment for 5x1.75 inch, which is the same ratio as 6cm x 17cm.

Thanks Brian. Ya I've been looking at the Shen Hao TFC617-B or the Gaoersi 617 as my options for right now. I'm still doing a lot of research on both before I make a decision. But the Shen Hao is looking like a very good idea as it has tilt and swing where the Gaoersi only has a little shift.

Brian do you know if I was to buy the Shen Hao TFC617-B if I'd also have to buy the roll film back? As it doesn't look like it comes with the camera...

Never mind, that's just an extra one you can buy.
