    Kerik,

I've been out of touch for a while and both Sydney and I have have just read your blog. It is a courageous act of sharing.
We are certainly relieved that you are overcoming this ordeal! Sarah, nice job on the photos. All the best to you and the family. Look forward to seeing you once again, possibly next summer in Montana-that was really delightful!

    Thank you!
It's funny to see their expressions after the exposure. They were concentrating so hard, trying not to move for 1 sec (which is nearly impossible for these two).

    Kerik,

Saw the photos and read the blog... all we can say is WOW. Joy and I were moved by your story and also by the strength that you and yours family demonstrated. Naturally we send our best wishes and we all hope that your recovery continues to be strong and quick.

5x7 portraits. HP5 d76 for the close up, I think the second one is diafine, both taco style, 2 negs in a 4 reel stainless tank. Schneider Kreuznach Symmar 180 f5.6

I'm escaping apug.org because of the no talking about scanning thing. Really impressed with the work I see here, really nice.

Just getting used to doing portraits with the 5x7. Have shot nothing but full frame digital for 5 or so years, just getting back to film. Really enjoy the challenge and differences with shooting film portraits, particularly LF.

Anyhoo...my latest two. The close up was an experiment. I'm not going to show it to the subject (my roomate) but I think it's interesting, anyway.

While I'm at it, here's a couple more (more Juneish than Julyish)

Your roommate may not feel flattered by it, but it's a wonderful portrait. So are t'others.
