Road Island calling :)

HI!

I have gone back to my roots and picked up a 4x5 a two lenses. Allot has changed since 1978, but I got the same camera.

Im curious if folks are using protective filters for their lenses I dont remeber using one on mine.

Im also looking for people in the Road Island area to meet up with and photograph

Welcome to group therepy, Brian. I have never kept UV or Skylight filters on my LF lenses for protection like I do on some of my 35mm and MF lenses...just don't really see the need since I don't usually decide which lens to put on until I'm already setting up the shot, thus the lens is packed away and not exposed to the elements like the lenses on my smaller cameras.
