    Re: May Portraits

Though wholly unworthy of being among these masterpieces, I'll post yesterday's attempt with a new lens:

Seneca Competitor 5x7, B&J Ajax No. 1 Portrait Petzval. I think I need a little more separation between the subject and the background to get the real swirl...

Here is the one I posted in the thread before, and a new one:

Both Schneider xenotar 150mm f2.8 on Portra 160NC (expired - but only a year or two... ) with a Toyo VX-125b.

My daughter Emily reunited with her golden retriever Harley after 2 years - Emily has been away at school in the Canadian maritimes but now has the space to look after him again.

Man....it was deja vu all over again. I thought I had gone into an alternate universe....didn't I already post a plate for May?...wasn't there already a May thread..? Ah...the thread delete button has a hair trigger!

Here is mine for world wetplate day. Collodion on 5x7, with a Vitax Petzval.

    Thanks, WK!

One more from the new B&J Petzval. Trying to see if it swirls. My daughter was being... uncooperative.
