    Densitometer question

I bought an old Macbeth TD901 densitometer that is missing the aperture which is recessed into the illuminated base directly under the probe. Does anyone have a Macbeth of this era who would be willing to measure the diameter of the aperture so that I could make a replacement. I assume the aperture disc is opaque except for the drilled out aperture. Am I correct? (XRite bought Macbeth and has been unresponsive to my requests for this little disc as a replacement part.)

    Thanks

    Re: Densitometer question

I have a TD-504. The aperture I use is 3mm. The manual states there is a 1mm aperture also but I don't have it. Don't know if this is helpful or not but maybe you can fashion something like mine.

    Good luck,
    Paul
