    Mammoth Lens Help Needed

Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone can suggest the right brass lens or has one to sell for a very large camera? I have a circa 1870/80 WH Lewis NY Swingback Mammoth plate (double full plate) camera that needs completing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many Thanks - Jason

    Re: Mammoth Lens Help Needed

Well, Watkins used a Grubb Aplanatic Landscape wide-angle lens for his famous mammoth plate shots.... I know many Petzval Portrait lenses were made/sold in mammoth size as well; Scovill's "Peerless" for example.
