Can someone instruct me how to post a image in this post, I have never done this before and I am lost as to what to do.

Click on Post Reply (not in Quick Reply).
Scroll down to "Manage Attachments" and click on that.
You then have an option of browsing your computer for an image, or using a URL of an image on another site (usually a higher quality way to post an image).

PS -- you have a limited time to edit a post before the system locks out that option. If you wish to add an image to an existing post, click edit, then "Go Advanced" and do the above.
PS #2 -- here is a scan of a carbon print -- uploaded from my computer. The loss in quality between the image seen on Photoshop and on the forum is tremendous.

Web browsers show images in sRGB color space, unless the images have an ICC profile attached. Even then, not all browsers support embedded ICC profiles. The default color space for the web is sRGB.
Photoshop, by default, does not present or edit images in sRGB. You have to configure it to do so.
What you see in a web browser, will match Photoshop, if your images are viewed and edited and saved in sRGB. If you use a browser that supports embedded ICC profiles, then you can work in any color space you like in Photoshop. As long as you save the image file with the profile attached, then anyone with a profile-aware browser will see them exactly as you intend - as long as their monitor is calibrated. If not, then all bets are off, as they say.

Thanks for the info, Ken. My browser supports sRGB (latest version of Firefox), tho it did not pass the acid test from your site. Could be my fault -- I never dropped one hit when I could drop two.
Next time I am at my office (where I have PhotoShop) I'll see what color space I was working with and see if I can get it to look better.
Thanks again!
