I'm glad I inspired you to go back! It's a totally easy hike, I was surprised how easy. I want to revisit myself with the 8x10.
    Thanks,

    Gabriel

Found this shrub a block from home. Looks like spring is on its way.

Actually, I didn't use any tilt/swing. The 47mm Super Angulon does not allow for much movement anyway, but stepped down to f22 or f32 everything will be in focus from less than arms length to infinity. So the lens definitely has quite a bit of potential for unusual perspectives, and I am experimenting with it off and on. And with night shots with wide lenses focusing and composing always involves some kind of guesswork and surprise. But I like that kind of surprise.

    Greetings, Thomas
I like the image a lot too.

The description of the lens makes my first thought "I have got to get me one o' dem!" but not only are they quite expensive I couldn't use it on my current camera, a Tech III, anyway, but being able to handle wide angles better is one of my requirements for my next camera.

I'm surprised this turned out as sharp as it did because the exposure time was over three minutes (at dusk) in somewhat breezy conditions.

Thanks. It's a bit chaotic visually, but it was definitely the swooping lines that drew my attention to the shot.
