    Question Epson R2400 Printer Question

When I open the Epson printer driver and select my paper type (usually Epson Premium Luster), I can then choose between "Photo", "Best Photo", and "Photo RPM".

I normally use "Best Photo", but my question is: What does "Photo RPM" mean? I can't find an explanation for this setting in the documentation or at the Epson site.

Does this setting give a print of higher quality? If so, how much better is the quality as opposed to "Best Photo", and what are the downsides, if any?

    Thanks, as always,

    (RPM) = Resolution Performance Management

    Re: Epson R2400 Printer Question

    Thanks, Darr!

I make color prints 99% of the time, and the article talks about ABW. If I use Premium Luster paper, will RPM improve resolution and give me a nicer looking print? In short, I am uncertain as to what Resolution Performance Management really does.

(I usally print at 360 dpi using Adobe RGB, and let PS manage color)

    Thanks again,
