    Re: Lets See Your Darkroom

With my current living conditions I am sharing a house with four other people. Two are college students who share the upstairs bathroom with me. Once they retire to their rooms and go to bed, I can quickly convert the bathroom sink countertop into a temporary 4x5 sheet film processing line.

I use 108 ounce plastic tubs from my local Dollar Tree stores to hold the various fluids:
    pre-wash
    developer
    stop bath
    fixer
    hypo eliminator

In the bathtub I have one more tub filled with distilled water + PhotoFlo. Then hang the wet negatives on a cord I knotted.

    Re: Lets See Your Darkroom

This is the second darkroom I've had; this one was dedicated as a darkroom when we built the house. All the cabinets came from a hair salon that was going out of business and bought the counter tops at Home Depot. The only thing I wish I'd done differently would have been making a full wall length sink instead of getting the pre made 6 footer. It's really not big enough to hold everything when you want to print 16x20's.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I haven't sink and water here, cause we are renting this flat. And I have no permission for it. I'm still washing fotos in the bathroom, oh (( It's so uncomfortable, especially when printing 50x60 cards and toning them. So, we'll see. I have some plans about wet table in my darkroom...
