New to LF and this great forum

Hi there, my name is Joey.
Just dove into 4x5 with a newly-old purchased Busch pressman d.
Plan on developing my own B&W negs -- chemistry and such in the mail to me.
I have been in the photo biz for a good while now. Been doing medium format panoramic work down here in the FLorida Keys with medium format.

I know want to go further with B&W 4x5 pano and landscape photography.

I know I will be asking a lot of questions soon. It been a long time since I hand processed. Should come back to me quick.

    Thx for this cool resource.

Hi, Joey, welcome to group therepy! My first 4x5 was a Busch Pressman and it was a fine camera. I especially liked the revolving back. I've been thru alot of others since then (back in the early '70's) and I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Pressman...in fact, my current press camera is a Super Graphic which is almost a duplicate of the Busch except with a Graflok back. Course, I'm considered a little nuts since I have no hesitation in carrying a heavy rail camera into the field either; often need those when shooting buildings.

    Have fun!
