Emil - this is extremely good.
Are you past the "scratching" phase?
Art, using women "taken from the rear", is a Danish speciality - Hammershøj, for instance.
The neck is just as important as other parts.

My first experiments into cyanotypes. I love the look of other alternative processes, but I find that the cyanotype is a nice start, and something I can build on.
Mammography 8x10 film, shot at 50 ASA, developed in pyrocat hd
Still tackling high contrast issues, but I think I'm making progress.
Cyanotypes toned in gallic acid-tannin, then the eyes were reverted back to blue with some nitric acid; some staining is present, but in the prints it doesn't seem as detracting

thanks Steve. I am not past the scratching phase, but I am constantly trying to find the "right" technique for each image....

    Funny you should mention Hammershøj!
Wait for my next image... ;-)

This is what Vilhelm Hammershøj painted around 1905 (there are many more of the same - all around 4 million USD these days).
The model is Mrs. Ida Hammershøj - so no nudes here.

yes - can't make your attachments work...

Here's a link to some images:

Image shamelessly inspired by my favourite Danish painter Wilhelm Hammershoi (Hammershøj)...

Not as good though... But it was fun.

Yes Zenny.. Hi! Thank you your interest, I went with my family to a close beach hotel and carry all my 8x10 kit with a background.. in the early mornning I went glazing the beach try to find something -fired in my mind- a subject that would make the viewer guessing and studying the subject as an unusual still-life. The subject describes how nature have gravity on things and how would leave there marks on subjects to contains them.

Thanks for explaining. Also saw you comparing the same image compared with inkjet in another thread. Nice job. Would love to see more of your fantastic still-life images! Outstanding!
