Fun, Andrew! I enjoyed seeing the brush action. I took a workshop of gum over palladium/NA2...just brushed the surface, so to speak.
I decided not to pursue it, but the idea of adding then selectively removing it is interesting.

12.5x10" Cyanotype, Hot Marjoram Tea toned
DIY digital neg from scanned 5x4 film original printed on Pictorico OHP A3+ via Canon Pro-300, printed on Hahnemühle Platinum Rag 11x15.
Paper masked with low-tack masking tape before sensitising and neg masked with strips of rubylith, for clean edges (following Bill Schwab method via Youtube)
Cyanotype: 26mins UV, citric acid dev
Cyanotype rinsed briefly then toned
Marjoram tea (further cyanotype toning experiments with the new Golaz book)
18.75g dried marjoram + 0.75g calcium carbonate in 1.5litres boiling tap water, brew 15mins then toned for 10minutes.
Original exposure made on Ilford Delta 100 5x4 with Linhof TK S45 and Schneider Apo-Symar MC 150mm f/5.6
Exactly same as before except Green Tea Toned, 1minute only.
Green Tea toner: 8 Tea Pigs green tea bags brewed in 1.5l boiling tap water for 15mins.
