hi all,
could i scan my 5x7 negativ with a digital camera and a macro lens (canon 2.8/60mm macro)? i think yes.
but is it possible to stich 20 digital shots to one frame?

the idea is to put a flash opposite the fixed camera. in between a big piece of plexiglass with the mounted negativ. the plexiglass is beared on a checked surface.
once the camera is aligned to the negativ i will have to rows each with 10 shots, after every shot the plexiglass is moved on square on the checked surface.
all this is theory, like the idea of getting a 200mp scan of my 5x7 negativ. would this procedure anable me to get a a 24x32 inch print in a very good quality?
theory is sweet but some real world experience would be very appreciated?
