It was commissioned by an NGO who work with the Quechua. I spent roughly 3 months there splitting my time between two Quechua villages and a small town where the NGO had their headquarters.

This carnival scene has all the lights switched on – but almost no people. Pretty spooky. Then it occurred to me that the exposure time might have been long enough to eliminate moving crowds (if they’re actually there); however, the appearance of the water & Ferris wheel suggest the exposure wasn’t that long. So I’m right back to “pretty spooky”! It’s a super image in many ways.
Truly inspiring work from everybody. Hats off to you all. Here is an oldie of mine. From just outside Aspen Colorado. I call it "Babbling Brook"
