Great job Jim. I like "close" snow/ice/water images. Most people are looking for dramatic landscapes (which you are also good at), and miss out on the details. Amongst those that do see it, they often don't have the proficiency and practice to properly expose the snow and water and print it nicely.
What a great thread! I took my time but viewed a good part of it.

That is a really nice picture. Delicate and powerful at the same time.
Here are a couple I took almost exactly 7 months apart. The first was on the last day of Jan 2010, and the second near the end of August. Shot with a Speed Graphic.

Summer clouds over the harbor in Rockland Maine near the end of the day. 900 pixels isn't showing much of the detail or tone unfortunately.
