"I wouldn't want to be a member of any club that would have me"

No doubt this is somewhere in a sticky but I don't see it...

I used to post here a little once upon a time but then moved out of traditional LF--and gravitated away from this board. But do digital stitches count as LF (given that it comes close to the LF ethos in many ways)? Do I get to join again?

You're welcome to hang around (who would kick you out?), but I think the opinion is digitally stitched images are not large format. I'm pretty sure it's come up on some of the image posting threads and I'd have to agree.

It's been discussed. Stitching from a DSLR isn't LF.
    Politically, aerodynamically, and fashionably incorrect.

You can post all the DSLR topics you want in the lounge, but stitched images from DSLR or MFD back is not LF by our traditional definition here unless it is used on some form of a view camera.

Large Format is a state of mind, not a camera size.

Stitching may not count, but I can vouch that Darin will have thoughtful and often dryly amusing commentary on most subjects.

Aww, rats. Won't no one play with me?

    Hey Kerik,

Good to see you are alive and well. By coincidence I stumbled across one of your workshop ads the other day and was even dreaming about going back into a chemical process again--sigh. Life is too short, indeed.
