Help please

I have a MICROTEK Scan maker 8700 scanner. I use it to scan my 8 x 10 negs and trannies. I use these in my storage files to display the image.
I purchased the unit on an auction site and are looking for an instruction book for it. Does anybody have a scanned copy please. I can use the unite for negs and paper, however when I try to do positves I have problems.
