    The life of a former photographic model.

    For lack of a better place to post this...

    Is there any truth to this story of Jock Sturges' former model, Misty Dawn?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/BID-ON-A-PHONE-D...QQcmdZViewItem

    "BID-ON-A-PHONE-DATE-WITH-JOCK-STURGES-MODEL-MISTY-DAWN"

    Three years ago, Misty had a job as a bartender in an Indian casino. In the course of her work, they had her lift full kegs of beer, weighing over 160 lbs. That's more than 25 lbs. more than she weighs. It caused her permanent back injury. She filed a claim with for Workers Comp, but because her job was on the reservation, the State laws did not cover injuries on "Sovereign Nation" territory, and the tribal insurance company rejected her claim. So, for the past three years, she has suffered with her back. The doctors said she has a degenerated disk. She had to sell a number of the original Jock Sturges photos of her that she had earned through her modeling, just to pay for doctors and medicine and now that money is running out. ALL OF THE MONEY LESS THE EBAY FEES WILL GO TO MISTY. By the way, Misty didn't think to do this. It was my suggestion, because she needs medical care. But this is the chance of a lifetime for her fans to be able to talk with her one on one.Winners will each received a 15 minute call from Misty where you can ask her questions about her modeling career, her life or just chat. Bid more than once if you want to talk more.
    (quoted from the ebay listing; the "my" in "my suggestion" refers to the ebay lister, not me!)

    That's funny.

    Good way to give away 100 bucks.

    OK, how's about $30. I, too, once posed for a picture and recently hurt my elbow raising one too many glasses of beer. I can't lower my price any further or it would be like giving it away.

    Brian, make sure to mention that in the picture you posed for, you were, like, ten and topless...

    ::disturbed::

    Did anyone else notice that the seller's main business is WWII era European, Soviet, and communist effects?

    Now I'm really disturbed!
