Well, this hardly feels adequate after dofmasters additional posts, but what can you do...

I wanted to come away from Yosemite with some particular photographs this summer, including this one - Nevada Fall at the peak of spring flow.

Hey, nicely done. I was in Yosemite at the end of October, and due to the heavy rain for a few days, *all* the waterfalls were thundering just like Nevada in your photograph. That's the first time I've been in Yosemite in the Fall, and see the 'Falls' running. It was cool!

Thanks! I was watching the weather reports for Yosemite while I was in Seattle, just wishing I was back there. Having the waterfalls running the autumn is a rare thing, and I have yet to be there for it myself.

Taken a few years ago, I had only been at LF for about a year at this point. This is one of the images that pushed me completely off the fence re LF, shortly after I sold my DSLR that I had started out with. Painful experience in many ways, what with how quickly these things lose their value! still, no regrets this far
Image is of Ben Talaidh, on the Isle of Mull on the west coast of Scotland. Taken at the end of a summer day before heading to the bothy just a mile further up the river.
