One more fresh off the scanner!

A view from my camping spot in the White River National Forest this past weekend.

I took this photo while cooking some dinner over the fire.

Shot with a Zone VI 4x5 and Fujinon W 125mm F5.6 lens. Velvia 50 developed with the Arista Rapid E-6 developer.

Nice shots CJ, I never had any luck with the rapid e6 developer, I got all kinds of weird results, I know it was something I was doing wrong, I wished Kodak still made there kit.

Fuji now makes a near identical 6 step kit. Freestyle has it in stock, but you are going to pay a premium.

Looks like they are sold out at the moment, but here it is: http://www.freestylephoto.biz/660162...g-Kit-5-Liters

Fuji have been making this 6 bath kit for a long time, we've been BEGGING for it to be imported to the USA and finally freestyle is doing it, very grateful.

The first order was a trial run, it sold out instantly so I think it was a success and they are ordering more.

That's a great kit. Have been using it for a few years and hardly had any trouble. It takes about 45 minutes to do one batch and there are quite a few steps, but with a few timers at hand it shouldn't be a problem.

Some real dramatic skies in that one StoneNYC!. I haven't watched the video yet, but I will. Nice framing as well.

    Ancient Velvia

This is just a test to test out some ancient Velvia I bought off Ebay. It was expired in 1990!

It has a green cast to the film when doing a straight scan, but this is the color corrected (as much as I could anyway) version. Not to bad, and I can see some use for it, more of a pictoral film than good Velvia.

I bought 125 sheets for less than $0.50 a sheet so I think it was still a good deal!

Shot with my Zone VI 4x5 camera and Fujinon 125mm F5.6 lens using a 2 stop graduated ND filter. Processed with Arista Rapid E-6 Kit.

This came out beautiful Stone. Really like the framing.
