    I shot these just before sunset with a B+W light red filter. This grove of trees is slowly being washed into the sea, originally I wanted to shoot at high tide but the tide wasn't as high as I have seen it before so I was forced to improvise. I was lucky enough to get bright sunshine and blue skies so I dug out the red filter and set up a few shots as sunset approached.

    Very nice work, Toby! The red filter was a good choice for this scene.

    As always there are lots of wonderful shots in this thread but this is really outstanding I think... obviously a great location (with 'good bones' ), but really well composed and executed.

    And a beautiful, subdued colour palette.
