    I should just shut up.

Please ignore my comment. I have had a bad day...

Hey, I'm all for constructive criticism. I can always ignore it anyway .

I have been the victim and attacker of plenty of constructive critique. It is often a mistake to give or receive.

My art school was particularly devastating, often out of spite, not from any higher purpose.

    Thus my motto, NOT ART.

Well it's all subjective. Of course I come from a classical music background - it's either right or wrong. Only a little bit of leeway for interpretations (20th century chance music and the like obviously not withstanding).

My photographic mentor and I will often have long conversations/discussions about "art" and dissect contest winners and gallery shows. It's interesting. I recently presented a piece in an open show and did not get any of the 25 "accolades" given out. He said I was "robbed" and should've gotten at least one of the merit awards (who cares?). It is what it is. Of course discourse is often hard in little snippets on an internet forum...

Nice Tuco! I like faces close up :-) I'm glad there is finally enough light here to use Acros - I like that film very much, very smooth and almost no grain
Is that a tripod reflection in the eyes!? :-)

Corran, I love those abandoned building photos. I enjoy taking those kind of photos too, but I rarely get the chance to.

Thanks Peter. It's especially nice to have full authorization from the owners and (de)construction crew so as not to be trespassing!!
