Interesting! Actually, no reference to Rothko at all but I like the association.

Heh. One could certainly do worse.

    I'm really liking your work.

Another new scan of something I shot while in Taiwan. My girlfriend never lets me get photos of her when we're just out and about. Doesn't like to be surprised by it, she says. Fair enough, but I try anyway.

Nice snap! I like her style, looks good in B&W. And her face is bathed in a glow, must be an angel.

Here is a shot of the room where I married a beautiful girl on March 22nd of last month. The fact that the film was able to retain some detail through the windows is amazing as the contrast was higher than I believed it would be able to. Made on a Mamiya C330 + 80mm f2.8 on Fuji Acros film.

Hard to develop a crush on the barista, though.

Is that toned, or does it just look that way on my monitor?

If this is what they would look like, she should let you surprise her more often.

One tiny little question: would it be worthwhile to level the first one in LR or some such? Or maybe it is level, and the darkness in the upper right corner just makes the lintel appear higher at that end.
Glad you like, barnninny. The camera was leveled on the tripod, and I still had tweak the the vertical a little in Lightroom. I thought I had it squared away, but the older I get, the crookeder things look.
