    It looks like the curved windshield and big bumped front lid, so probably a Super Beetle about 71-73 or so. If that’s correct, the front bumper is either not original or has been modified.

    Thanks for the input. It had a hotrod paint job. I'd expect some part swapping. But those running lights looked to me to be in the 70's for sure. It seems from 1960-1980s the running lights kept getting larger with time.

    Such a cool little car. Always been a fan of the beetles, especially the older models with the tiny tail lamps and those funky directional signals that would pop out from the body. The Karmann Ghia was also another cool one...sadly, never owned either.
