    Great photos Peter and Ken!

I lugged my LF gear and tripod on a hike today and didn't even use it. I suspect the extra exercise helped my brain or body somehow. Shot two rolls of 120 with the rolleiflex and a couple cell phone snaps for family. Here's some leaves with a layer of ice, then water, then reflection, then shot with my $100 cell phone. I do like the thoughtfulness of layering in my photos. B&W negatives are drying, but I think the color here is useful.. Sort of an Eliot Porter palette and inspiration. Maybe the shapes and tones will stand on their own differently in the B&W film; It might still be in the camera... I don't try to shoot a certain amount on each outing, but it always seems like I'm halfway through a roll when I finish some outing.. Thomaston town forest. I will return during a gentle snow with the LF gear.

I really like how my attention shifts back and forth between reflection and viewing into the water.

Thanks Garrett. They are my mom's, about to be sent to new homes. She is a well-known breeder and sends birds all over the country.

Jason, that reminds me of the flooded pinelands here, but ours aren't generally frozen .

Here's a cell phone shot of a crab today at an aquarium:

Clever use of refraction to get two for one. I'm glad I didn't see this last night - that crab looks malevolent to me!

Yes he was a little snippy .

I am shooting along the Gulf Coast this past week and next, and I have been using my phone to "preview" Widelux photos using the pano function:

Amazing how well it works and how everything has a new perspective.

I shoot them now and then.

Really like the double crab and the pano of the dock Bryan! I was in London this past week and used my phone camera frequently and the pano mode did come in handy to capture the city lights which were just gorgeous. I took my XPan with me and am slowly getting through my scans - here is a fresh one from tonight.
