Kern Switar 50/1.4 cine lens I found this weekend. I love this happy shot, taken through the window of a bar next to the restaurant we were waiting to get in. I peeked in between the blinds, and saw the shot developing, quickly snapped it. Manual focus too!

    Like!

It emulates a smoky bar. I see no ashtrays.

Ken, To quote you, "Bravo". The lines, the rectangles, highlights, shadows, textures are all perfect. Beautifully seen and captured.

Re: safe haven for tiny formats

Since a minor medical condition currently precludes my trying out the newly acquired LF gear outdoors, I am bent on clearing my backlog, scanning some autumnal 35 mm negatives. The grain of HP5 in this format will be revolting for most of you here, but the tonality still shines through imho (it is one of my favourites on MF, and I have opted it to be my start-off film on LF, too).

(Daughters included for scale on this shot I have another one with the pure rockscape)

    Love grain!

I had to look twice for the daughters.
