    Ghost Forest, Neskowin, Oregon

Though these might look like rocks, or pilings, they are actually the preserved stumps of a 2000 year old forest. The beach at Neskowin is covered with them.

Thanks Tuco. This was the first time I'd ever been there. We took the kids to the coast to escape the recent heat and I hadn't really planned on making any pictures. I'd like to go back at low tide with the big camera-there are definitely a lot of possibilities there.
