Some maple leaves at Sears Island Maine. They will probably start changing color in a couple weeks. The end of summer is great, no bugs, dry air, cooler temps. d600 and sigma 50/1.4 hsm

Garrett, that lens has some nice qualities.

Thanks, I've sold the more expensive Switar model in 25mm. A side by side comparison revealed the Pizar it better. I like it a lot, for it's funky edges, good bokeh, sharpness and contrast.

Add me to the list of admirers for the rendering this lens produces. If you don't mind Garrett, what camera and adapter are you using with this lens. You've got me thinking

    Andy,

There is a bunch of good pics down there, probably with the Rollei Planar, which is a wonderful lens,

    Cheers,

It's shot on a micro 4/3, a Panasonic G1. Regular chinese adapter. I've had about 10 Kern Cine lenses, this and a couple more are the keepers. You have to get smart on them, there are AR and RX versions, mine is an AR. I like it for it's Petzval look, though I don't believe it is that design. A very fun lens in a tiny package. Here is another.

Thanks for that Renato. Not that I much experience of the the different Rollei lens but I guess they are all pretty exceptional....the 2.8 Xenotar is one I would like to try.
