    We had some downpours this afternoon as I finished up work on an island and was waiting for the boat to depart at the end of the day, These are big rain drops hitting the calm ocean. It's not usually calm in the afternoon. The clouds were dramatic but didn't photograph well, but looked nice as reflection material. This is loosely inspired by John Paul Caponigro's resonance photographs. Made with my Google nexus 5x phone.

    Took my recently acquired Leica M3 for a spin - awesome little camera but found that I have some focusing issues at infinity.
