    It's only mostly dead. It looks like the wing flapped during the exposure.

    Boy, and they grilled that one dude for using a chemical log to light up the Delicate Arch, but this Jim Galli guy is deliberately KILLING an innocent tree just to fulfill a photographic theme! Sick and twisted! It's a snuff photo!
