I was so enthralled with her eyes, I did not notice the bad lines in the fabric around her shoulder as we shot.

Hi Allen,
well done, don't bother about the lines.
She has beautful eyes!

Whats about the Focus on the right eye ?

Michael what a little doll! Enjoy your life with her. Lovely photo.
Bad Lines? Umm that is life and real. Why do you call those lines "bad"? Your words are purely a judgment call - and respectfully I disagree with this judgment. The beauty of Japanese ceramics is the natural uncontrolled effect of nature on the final artistic product. Her eyes are no more important than the environment in which she exists - folds and all. Oh well Im probably to much a romantic on this stuff anyhow. Nice image though!
Thank you George and Brian, she does have remarkable eyes.
Michael,
You have a real little sweetie on your hands there. She looks like she has lots of spunk in her!
Nancy is an amazing woman, very funny too!
I used a four foot softbox and an 6 foot reflector behind her.
The exposure was f 8 minus one stop for bellows draw. I was surprised to see the eye softer than her hair on that side of the frame too.

Nice one Belle.
This is a better version of the one above...
