An underwater photographer....A Pelican case will make thieves eyes light up much faster than an old cooler.

This may be nothing even remotely like what you are looking for but hopefully someone will find the infomation helpfull.

Thanks for the idea Dave. I'm always looking for new great ways to camouflage my gear from thieves.

I've used just about every shipping case you see in the B&H catalog, which are often too heavy when empty, and now I just use normal luggage with sturdy sides. Perhaps I'll make an ice chest case now.

I have had good luck with Rubbermaid ActionPacker cases - the 8 gallon with a folded bath towel in the bottom is a perfect case for a Sinar F2. When the thieves hit my car, they did not take the Rubbermaid tubs and a Sinar case that looks like ordinary luggage. They got the camera bag looking cases.
