Does anybody know where I can get my Pentax digital spot meter checked? I cannot remove the battery cover and it's been like this for at least 10+ years. I've tried everything I know how but I can't get the cover off.Where can I send it to get the cover off and a general check.

Send it to Quality Light Metric. They'll get it spot on for you. They do all of the hollywood cinematographers' meters, where millions of dollars are riding on their accuracy.

Mr. Ritter has a number of Hollywood cinematographers who are meter customers, too. It's a hoot when someone sends him three at a time to calibrate and match.

You can't go wrong with either.
