Shutter trip(p)ing
Armin,
Nice collection of cameras! Is that a Gowland TLR on the right side or ??
No this is a Hans Fröhlich Camera from La Chaux-de-Fonds a City in the Jura Swiss part! Hans was a portrait photographer in this City. It has two Tele Arton 270mm which is very nice and I think he build it by himself.
I got it from a magazin photographer from Zürich.
La chaux-de-Fonds ! I live at 21 km from Porrentruy ! We are neighbours then, even if I'm french... Hans made a great view camera, it must be nice to use it to shoot portraits, on top of that I love Tele Artons lenses that give a soft image great for portraits.
Here in France this is the sixth week of lockdown and I think that I'm getting slightly mad...
Sinar P2 8x10 (another great swiss view camera), HP5 8x10 Commercial Ektar 12" (a great lens made in USA and built like a tank) some vodka, crackers and my silly woolen rabbit found in a garage sale. I used an air soft release, you can see it in my hand holding the cards.
Large format photography is not only about size.
Wonderful, Laurent!
Thanks, but I'd rather just watch:
