I've order a ground glass the 17th august 2007... never receive anything, and never receive any answer to my multiple emails...
Any suggestion ?

Dave made a post about this a while ago, you can probably find it if you search. I believe he said he's going to stop taking orders, (and possibly stop making the glass eventually?) but will continue to make the glass long enough to fill all of his back orders. Correct me if I am wrong, I believe this is what he said.

Daniel: You are correct on Dave, he has had some problems that are impeading his work on the glass !

Whats in back of you is the past and whats in front of you is the future now in the middle you have choices to make for yourself:
Dave had some truly tragic events in his life these past few years. He is not taking any new orders, catching up on all the orders he has and getting them out the door, and then closing shop, but an order from August 2007 is a really long time to wait. Perhaps it was overlooked due to timing with Dave's family tragedies.
If you need a gg very quickly, and will exceptional quality and service, look into the California maker 'Brilliant Ground Glass.' He has a store on eBay.

Meanwhile, I'd call Dave at Satin Snow to see what's up 406-752-8677.
Walter, I bought some new GG from a gentleman on EBay - inexpensive, instant communication, instant shipment, great product, no drama
have now ordered 4 new GG for my Normas
What about a DIY project.
This guy seems to have cracked the code:

Wagner,
I make my own following Dick´s instructions and they work great.
Takes a little time to get the process down, but it is fun and very inexpensive.
I'm going to be a bad guy here. A few years ago I ordered a glass from SS and it arrived quickly and worked fine. About 6 months later I ordered another one. Never arrived. I was told that it had been shipped. Never arrived. I was told it was lost in the mail and another would be shipped. Never arrived. Then I was told this one was lost in the mail. Now, my business depends on the USPS. In over 15 years only one package was "lost" and was found two days later. While I feel for Dave in the his personal problems, business is business. You accept a person's money, deliver the product. To say you just don't have the time, but yet you can find time to post numerous posts here just doesn't cut it, IMO.
I ordered a screen from Dave last year and it arrived within a few months.
I recommend calling him and being reasonable. You're the one at a loss, so it pays to make your point clear without being nasty, and no doubt you'll get your order.
