    NY TIMES "Portfolio" of Gasoline Pumps

    The Times posted an attractive and timely (IMHO) portfolio of gas pumps today.

    I like the series. I'd like to see more of it. By chance I've taken a couple of pictures of abandoned gas stations, but never saw them in this kind of broader, melancholy light before.

    I've always been interested in photographing abandoned buildings, but never knew where to look (that and it's a bit creepy ). The first series on the gas stations were not bad, but the second series on New York was amazing!
