Thanks, Scott. It was pretty simple, really. Basically all of the lighting that you notice is from the source you see in the frame.
Things ranged from off the scale bright with the clear glass lamp shade, 2 stops over in the narrow space of wall over the door frame, 3 stops under on the far right wall, to 5 and more stops under on the trashcan and inside the door. I figured exposure at 4 seconds, which became 8 seconds for reciprocity. The little trick is a direct fill flash right over the lens set to give me zone 2 exposure on the far right bit of wall. It's processed N-1. There actually is a tiny bit of negative detail in the trashcan but I didn't particularly want anybody paying much attention there.
I also exposed a sheet with a stop more fill flash. It's OK but this negative appears more delicate in the separation between the top edge of the wall and the sky.
