I've been on the lookout for one of these lenses for years, after I bought one on eBay that came totally trashed (broken aperture, etc.) like 4 years ago. Finally got one for quite a steal on eBay, that wasn't trashed! I just so happened to have a flange that was the right size and an extra Pacemaker lens board so took a saw to it and hacked a rough hole into the board, glued the flange to it, and put it all together. Looks pretty nice on my Speed - which funnily enough is a US Army Signal Corps model, which now has a (I believe) German reconnaissance lens on the front. A clash of history.
I took a few test shots on instant film and the results are pretty stellar. It covers the 3x4 Fujiroid perfectly. A tad bit of vignetting on 4x5 focused at infinity. Shot some regular film too and will develop later tonight. I also need to try putting this on my Pentax 67.
Looks good, Bryan. I bet it produces a bright ground glass image!
