Yes. It's at Lac du Bois grasslands in Kamloops. I've been doing some exploring there for the past few months.

If you are looking for a suitable solution to carry your film holders, I would suggest to have a look at Briscoes Thermos bags. I bought one of those bag on sales last year, and they are perfect for carrying 5x7 film holders. A 6x cans size should do 8x 5x7 film holders! Might be a bit too small for whole glass plates!
On the site provided for the carrier frame there is no purchasing info provided. Just a login for retailers. Where can I buy this?

There's mosquitoes on the river, fish are rising up like birds. It's been hot for seven weeks now, too hot to even speak now, did you hear what I just heard?

Personally, I prefer to slide my hand under the built-in strap compared to a separate handle (ala Technika). Seems better balanced.

I used only the focus frame, wich locks directly on the back of the main body of the Cambo Portrait body.
I changed the hand grip of the camera from vertical to horizontal position, I just had to do new screw holes to fix it.

here is a photo of a new angle of the camera and a photo where you can see the back and focus frame.

This camera is on John Grepstad site, in an early stage, when I was still doing focusing tests, so, the lens board was made of 3 plywood sheets, wich I recently changed for the definitive bamboo board.

This camera was used as inspiration to a few guys, some of their cameras are really great.
I "received" orders from some guys, from USA, Brasil, Spain, Portugal and Nederlands, to build them a camera like this one but I don't have the parts to build new cameras.

This camera was intended to shoot urban photos but, it turned out to become my favourite camera for seascape photos, as it can't do lens or back movements and neither has a focus system, it turn out to be a fast operating 4x5 camera, wich is great for me has I use to shoot mainly during winter in places where sea is really wild, so you must run fast!

Spent some time enjoying the fall colors and cool breezy weather. Had a mix of sun and clouds; the clouds sent hail twice while I was out shooting Saturday afternoon.
This is in a blueberry field on the side of a mountain in Rockport Maine. I went out with DSLR, Rolleiflex, and 4x5. I shot some Ektar 100 4x5 color negative file with the Aero-Ektar, and some B&W with the same lens and my Verito.

The changing weather and being alone in the woods was VERY relaxing and energizing at the same time. I need to do it more.

I posted a cell phone image of my Burke & James 5x7 6 months ago or so.

However I happened to be in the Canadian Rocky Mountains the other day, with my old Sigma SD14 DSLR close by.

In my opinion it's a much nicer photo this time.

I thought that it's just in "Portrait" mode.
