Great idea. I'll do that sometime. I do have a 4x5 instant film back and some film too.

I was under the impression that 9x12cm was accepted as "nominally" large format on this forum, per this post by Rick Denney:

Glad to inspire, use cardboard on the inside walls or double stack the lego blocks to avoid leaks between the blocks (which I didn't do).

    Enjoy!

Sorry, I thought the cameras shown were medium format folding cameras.

    I have un-deleted the post.

Maybe the poster could upload the 9x12 camera images again as they've been lost.

The best of the German 9x12 camera like the Ica/Zeiss Uninversal Juwel where the forerunners of the Modern Linhofs and Japanese equivalents. The Linhofs was ere 9x12.

This shows the size difference between a 9x12 Patent Etrui and a Pacemaker Crown Graphic, the negatives are close in size around the same length 9x12 is just a touch narrower. The Crown is 2.4kg, the Patent Etui 815g and fits in a pocket. The third camera is a 6x4.5 Ikonta forscale.

The Patent Etui compared to a Rodenstock 9x12.
