My avatar is myself with my Linhof Technika 5x7" - since sold.

Now I'm using a 7x5" Gandolfi traditional (among other cameras):

    Re: Show off your camera!

Last Sunday morning at China Beach in San Francisco.

I was making a long exposure of the the surf and rock when I noticed some movement - the girl proceeded to walk into the scene, turn around and then walk out. Fortunately, I was able to stop the exposure, recock the shutter and then complete it after she walked away.

Turns out that she was a model on a professional shoot - when I left, the photographer apologized for interrupting me, but it thought it was rather rude of him to walk in as I was working and simply assume ownership of the area. The temperature was cool, so I suspect the model was very uncomfortable.

Diane, I'd like to see more of (and from!) that Canham!
I have a lot of 5x12 negs, but not many scanned prints.

Brilliant. Now it's time to do an Arca-Conversion to an 8X10 back and get some further use out of both of these very fine lenses. Beautiful camera, btw

    Wonderful thread everyone!

    Which one?

I decided to count mine the other day, and I stopped when I reached . . . well, it was more than 10 and less than 100.
