At 11,500 feet with the Walnut 8x20 I built. Great looking camera but the guy in the pic can leave!

At work with my 8x10 Deardorff and 250mm Fujinon lens. Even the model enjoyed looking through the GG.

The beach is San Onofre state beach, south Orange County. We have only till Labor Day when they will no longer allow nude sunbathing.

    Ken,

Ralph is correct. I bought the Gitzo leg protectors, and they work well. However, the foam pipe insulation is much, much cheaper.

    Don,

your work on your site is outstanding. i particularly like (coming from a transplanted Texas boy mind you) the image from Caddo Lake State Park.

    Well done,

    Re: Show off your camera!

Thanks Monty. I was there in Uncertain, Texas for a photo workshop with True Redd. Being from the western Southwest where the light is (mostly) clear and seems to run forever, I felt as if I had stepped on to a different planet - hanging moss and tree limbs and thick, humid air. By the way, two months ago I sold a 32x41 inch print of the Caddo Lake image. As a large print it feels as though you could just step into it.
