This is a beautiful portrait with good lighting. I will have to learn to use strobes. I never used strobes with Leica.

Thanks for the compliment. The lighting for that photo was done with light from a window (to the right), an incandescent table lamp (to the far left) and a folding reflector just out of camera view to the left. It was also enhanced in lightroom. Camera was a D750 with a Nikkor 85/1.8G.

I sometimes use them but I too have much to learn about strobes.

It's always nice to see younger people becoming interested in large format photography.

Re: Show off your Large Format camera!

Yes, it came with 3 x half plate film holders numbered on each side from one to six. I have another half plate Gandolfi which came with two identical plate holders numbered one to four. I have one metal 5" x 4" insert (I'm keeping a look out for more) and have a box of Ilford FP4 in the fridge. I also intend to make an adapter plate for a 5" x 4" back which I have (unfortunately Gandolfi do not appear to have been into any sort of interchangeability, as the two half plate cameras have different sized backs (!) so the 5" x 4" back for the other one won't fit this one!). I also intend to build a step and repeat digital back for still subject matter.
